Home and School Association

Tamatea Primary School's  Home and School association is a small but dedicated team made up of whānau members.

We believe in the school's vision : Connected, Curious and Confident' and endeavour to help the school in their mission to create a nurturing learning environment that promotes wellbeing.

The Home and School association meet twice a term to go over fundraising ideas and goals. Dates are advertised in the school newsletter and through the school Facebook page it is a great way to be connected and meet other parents.

The Home and School association run multiple fundraising events throughout the year including our combined Junior/Senior school discos  and Easter/Christmas raffles.

Previous Examples of what our fundraising efforts have helped to achieve are

  • Musical instruments
  • Sunshades in the playground
  • Robotics technology

Come along and see for yourself. We are always looking to grow our numbers and would love to see you and hear your ideas, it is a great way to be connected and meet other parents; and even if you are unable to commit your time you may have some great connections that could be helpful in future fundraisers.

We would love to see you at a meeting or you can drop your details into the school office and Carolyn will pass them on to someone to get in touch.
