PB4L

Last year our Kāhui Pod tamariki were asked to create a design for a mural to track the collection of PB4L tokens for our house groups. Year 6 student Alazyah Kihi’s design was chosen. He created a design with a waka to tally the tokens and the mangopare design. Brandon Blair from Crimson Design Ltd was then given the design and after some tweaks the final design was painted onto our staffroom wall, as this area can be viewed easily from the playground.

The waka represents us all working together towards achieving our shared goal (He waka eke noa). The mangopare (patterns in the water) are kaitiaki in the ocean, they have each other's back, they work together and are resilient. This is also representative of our kura and our School values.
